She opened her blue eyes slowly as she the vibrations passing through her pillow and along her bed as her strange alarm clock went off. Sighing wearily she reached beneath her pillow, pulling out the round object that was causing the nuisance that awoke her and tossing it across the room, not hearing the loud thunk it made as it hit the wall. In one fluid, almost boneless motion she sat up, glaring at the actual clock that sat beside her bed. The bright neon glow of the numbers taunting her as her gaze fell upon them. Six o'clock was just too early to be getting up, stupid school. Mirei was not a morning person, never was and never would be, she was a night owl, easily staying awake until the first rays of light began to peer above the horizon before finally turning in for a few hours sleep before rising again, and this was apparent in her sluggish movements, she could easily remain asleep until the sun once again set, and had done so on more then one occasion but after many scoldings and a few punishments she made a better effort to actually get up when her alarm went off. But it was always a struggle to not just go back to sleep. Most people would fix this by putting the alarm across the room, forcing them to get up to turn it off and by then there was no way they could go back to sleep, but that wouldn't do her much good, she couldn't feel it go off if it was across the room.
Stretching slightly, a satisfying pop resonated in the room for a moment, not that she could actually hear it, but she definitely felt it and though her back popping was a simple thing it was an immediate release of pressure and it helped a bit in making her morning a bit better. She still groaned though when she pushed back the warm covers and was hit by that chill everyone feels first thing when they get out of bed and it was tempting to lay back down in her still warm bed and catch a few more hours of sleep, a few missed classes wouldn't hurt, then again the punishment that would follow them most likely would. Before she could give it anymore thought she stood from the bed, quickly crossing the small room to turn on her sound system as high as it would go, a heavy beat immediately filling the room. And now you're wondering why a deaf person is listening to music, as pointless as it seemed, she rather enjoyed the vibrations that filled the room when it was cranked up loud enough, sure everyone whose rooms were near hers could hear the screaming voices and hard beat, heck, even those down and around the hall probably could, but she couldn't care less, as long as she could feel wave after wave of vibration washing against her small frame she was satisfied.
Quickly she continued with her morning routine, pulling on a simple black off-the-shoulder long sleeve top, lacing her corset over that, black skinny jeans, and her combat boots, brushing her teeth, etc. A quick glance at the clock told her she was running a little ahead of schedule but now that she was up she was itching to get out the door, she wasn't excited for school but as she glanced around her bare room she couldn't help but think it resembled that hospital she had spent so much time in, and that thought alone was enough to drive her from what was normally her sanctuary. Scooping her bag off the floor and slinging it over one shoulder carelessly she opened the door and quickly hurried out, only to run into a hard body that was apparently standing outside her room, knocking them both to the floor with her on top. Her blue eyes blinked slowly in surprise as she tried to make sense of the situation.
