IT SEEMS TO ESCAPE ME
Name: Jayson Archtree
Alias: N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Meister Level:
One-Star
AS SEEN THROUGH THE SOUL
Appearance:
His hair is very red, and is often teased about his hair, but he usually ignores insults. It also very well kept, as it sometimes covers his eyes. His hair hangs to about chin length, that it his covers his eyes. When he feels lazy, he will not even bother to comb it after he gets up from sleep. His eyes are a dull yellow, giving the appearance of cat eyes or a demon. He also has three earrings on his left ear.
Jayson likes to wear a black jacket that is covered in pockets to keep various stuff in, that his mother gave him to him for his journey, which he wears all the time, unless he is in a very hard battle. Under his jacket, he wears a black short sleeve shirt with a big red stripe going across the shirt diagonally. He has black jeans which has a chain connecting from his pocket, to a loop on the side of his jeans. His shoes have the same design as his shirt, black shoes with red stripe going across it.
For school, Jayson appears to dress like he is in the military, as he wears matching shirt and pants that are blue with white borders and gold buttons and zippers. He also has black boots and white gloves
Personality:
Jayson is friendly, humorous in his own way, sensitive, and kind. But he also has a tendency to rush into situations without thinking, sometimes leading to embarrassing consequences. Jayson is an average student when it comes to school. He does not get the lowest grades, but he doesn't get the highest grades, which is good enough for him. Despite his attitude, he is a complete genius when it comes to computers, knowing how they work inside and out. Even though he may seem friendly, he is not afraid of sticking up for himself.
He can be impatient in the face of an enemy, rushing after enemies he has no chance of defeating. He is not the one to figure out strategies to defeat his opponent, as he tends to fight with just pure strength and blind rage, if he is mad enough. He likes to fight with his friends as it gives him confidence when fighting others, but it takes him awhile to actually work together with another one
Although he has a positive personality, he strongly believes in the belief, Survival of the Fittest. He beliefs that only strong meisters belong in the academy, and will gladly prove it if it comes to that. He will fight those who he thinks that are weak and will think nothing less of seriously hurting them. Because of this, people dont see the kind side of Jayson, but those who do, are counted as life long friends, who are never to be thought of as weak
History:
Born to a simple family of with his mother, father, and his twin brother in Manchester, England. He was a regular kid with friends and family that loved him very much. It was fun for Jayson, and times he would always remember. Unfortunately, money trouble and arguing would force his parents to divorce. Jayson stayed with his mom, while his brother stayed with his dad, traveling around from city to city. He only stayed in one place long enough to go through a year at a school. Amazingly, his mom kept a job pretty well and they were still able to do all the fun stuff.
With his mother being lather lenient, Jayson was able to do pretty much whatever he wanted. However, someone did something right, because he never did the wrong thing. Well, when it came to drugs and alcohol, anyway. He made his fair share of mistakes.
When he was 8 and spending the weekend at his Dad's, Jayson was caught up in a horrible thunderstorm. The thunder had already managed to frighten the little boy, but then the power went out. The lightning didn't help matters any, casting shadows that just scared him all the more. Not even "flawless" adult logic could soothe his fears. That's what would start Jayson's fear of thunder.
All the moving made it hard to Jayson didnt impair his ability to make friends, as he was a very outgoing person. He was always eager to be involved, no matter who it was with. He knew how lucky he was to have friends and defended that with every part of his being. During one such moment, Jayson accidentally seriously hurt a kid, finding that his arm had somehow strengthened.
Not knowing what had happened, he was unable to explain how the boy had ended up needing to go to the hospital. After getting chewed out by both the administration and his mom, Jayson was expelled from the school. On the drive home, he asked his mom about what had happened. This made his mom promptly hit the brakes and gave her son a weird look. The rest of the ride was silent.
His mom instantly called his dad and had him come over to the house. When he arrived, he asked Jayson to explain what had happened. Not knowing if this was about the kid or what, he went over the area about his arm strengthening with little detail. He became even more confused when his dad had to explain that part in greater detail. He did to the best of his ability. He explained to him that there was a rare trait passed down from his family where one had the ability to use souls as a sort of power. He also explained that, since he had been expelled from her current school, both his parents thought it wise to enroll him into Shibusen.
Confused, and rather annoyed that they had made the decision without him, Jayson was against it. They told him there was no choice in the matter. Though annoyed, by the time he had to leave he was over the fact and told both his parents that he'd be just fine moving by himself. And with that, he made his way towards Shibusen.

It was lunch time, the most glorious of all times during the day. This was even more true when one was forced to attend school. Lunch was the time when you could converse with your friends without worrying about the teacher yelling at you. It was also when perverted jokes swam around the table and everyone enjoyed a good laugh. This couldn't be more true for the group of kids Jayson usually hung around with. There was at least five dirty jokes told each day, including the every popular 'That's what she said'.
An old favorite, one about an old lady with hedge clippers, was being recited today. Jayson was content with sitting back and just listening, laughing along at his favorite parts and adding his own little imput. Those who hadn't heard it before were laughing the most, intent on listening and memorizing the lines so they could tell others.
The story was interrupted by a small group of three boys who sauntered past, loudly saying something about the boy who had been telling the joke. The atmosphere at the table dropped, everyone giving the three looks. All except Jayson, who openly glared at the three and mumbled something just loud enough for them to hear.
"What did you say?" the leader of the three snarled, coming over to the table. "I didn't quite catch that."
"I said," Jayson started, rising from his seat, repeating the insult that he had just said
"What?" He never got any father than that. Jayson pulled his fist back and slammed it right in the kid's face, causing him to stagger back into his two buddies. His nose, bleeding, looked out of place. "Aw dammitd! Where's the damn teacher?"
"You guys are nothing but trash, Get out of here, before i really do some damage." Giving one final glare to him, and adding a little jump forward to scare the two others, Jayson calmly turned around, smiling at his stunned friends. "C'mon, guys. Let's go hang out by the auditorium steps."
