A whole site full of people and not one introduction thread. My, oh my.

Alright, behold the sheer awesomeness that is Kloggomnir!

Don't worry about pronouncing that. Just shorten it to Klogg (pronounced simply like 'clog').

There is history behind the name, and the weapon, which I will get into shortly since my focus has tapered from my application.

But first a little about me. I am a Canadian, born and raised, and have never stepped foot out of the frozen North. My current location is Newfoundland, Canada, but in a few months time I will be heading off to Montreal, Quebec for various reasons. Namely because I have recently finished and graduated university with an Bachelor of Arts in English (making me better than everyone here! Or not) with a minor in Philosophy. Obviously I plan on going somewhere in life.

I have several years experience with roleplaying, mostly within canons such as Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy, and aspire to become a writer one day. Maybe there will be roleplaying boards based off my work. Big dreams. Until I get published my ambitions are a bit lower, looking at editing work and the like.

Currently I'm working security, which means long and boring 12 hour shifts where I read books and watch movies while performing very basic and brief duties. However being 12 hour shifts, they do absorb a lot of time so right now I cannot promise all of my attention, however if the next work site I go to doesn't have WiFi I'm considering buying one of those 3G USB doohickeys to further my roleplaying accessibility.

This is getting long, isn't it?

I'm very easy to get along with and love talking to people. Seriously. There are times I have nothing to do because there's no one to talk to. So I bide my time with video games of all sorts. Feel free to hit me up via PM or MSN, and I may be around the Cbox now and then.

Enough about me. Let me introduce you all to Kloggomnir.

As a brief aside I'm writing this at 5:09 AM so I may be rambling due to lack of sleep.

Kloggomnir is an axe. He is a mythic axe who holds outstanding powers accessible to those who wield him. But they must pay the price in blood. Klogg has an insatiable appetite for the blood of his enemies, and much prefers feasting upon souls than idling around. He presents himself only when needed, only when he sees fit, and exists beyond space and time, life and death. Such concepts are merely his playthings, existing only to be utilized upon his fancy.

At least that's the mythos my friends and I created around him. Kloggomnir started as an axe in Left 4 Dead 2 that was serving me remarkably well. I decided it needed a name, so we discussed it and decided it would be Kloggomnir. Shortened to Klogg. From then one I would be notorious for saying things like "Come Klogg!" before charging in recklessly.

At one point I killed many specials sequentially: "Klogg feasts on Hunter blood! Klogg feasts on Jockey blood! Klogg feasts on Spitter blood! Klogg feasts well today."

I swear I've seen hordes of zombies turn and run away from the mere presence of Klogg.

However for the sake of RP I've adapted his character and abilities to a much smaller scale, that I do not godmode or anything such sacrilege. His application will be done soon, with his Meister, my friend Yaxaven who was present upon conception in L4D2, following tout suite.

So there's my incredibly long-winded and outrageously tedious introduction. And the first on the site, it would seem. Comments? Questions? Sexual propositions?

Hi and welcome to SR! My name is Soul and I'm one of the co-admins. First off I wanted to say, congrats on being member number 100! Whoooo. Second off, you're the only intro in this board because the main admin, Jayden, just recently moved a whole bunch of stuff to the archives. And by recently, I mean...yesterday I think...LOL. Hi there! Welcome to SR, I'm Jayden, the Head Admin. I do most of the coding around here... set up threads, but it's only thanks to Soul this place is still running. Anyways, yes there were actually a few pages worth of introductions, but after some summer cleaning yesterday, there are no longer any intros left in this board. Yeah, there are quite a few posts around here, I just had to clean up the c lutter.

I'm actually younger than Soul... yes, that's right I'm not in college yet. Ummm. I'm around pretty much every day. I'll mostly always post a little hello in the CBox if I'm busy, otherwise I'll probably stay and chat. Ummm. I control Maka and Stephanie... so yeah. I hope you enjoy it here! Have fun!
