Soul made his way onto the school ground and looked around. He looked around as he waited for Cross, they were supposed to train today. "Hope he didn't forget..." Soul's foot suddenly began to tap as he began to get antsy and irritated for him being late. He checked his watch for about the tenth time in the past five minutes. He sighed heavily as he leaned against the wall. He was going to be practicing his partial transformation, at least now he won't be completely useless and while Maka's away he could at least protect himself at the very least.
The sun was really hot and hit was starting to get kind of annoying as it laughed at him in the sky. He was glad that he chose to wear a short sleeve shirt and leave his jacket at home; with it on he would probably end up dying. "He's dead if she doesn't show up..."

The early hours of a tranquil morning brought with it a beacon; the uninhabitable sphere of superheated gas known as the sun. Beneath its lengthy rays stood a perspiring Cross stood exhausted from his early morning work out. He returned to the rather large one room apartment, which was located a few blocks from the road leading back to Shibusen Academy. Once he made it back to his home the boy removed his sweaty clothing and headed into the shower. Once clean, he dressed himself in his usual attire, consisting of a black, sleeveless, hooded sweater with a pair of purple eyes stitched onto the back. The in which he wore it required the hood to be on, while the sweater itself was unzipped. The rest of his clothing was fairly simple, being a pair of black shorts along with black boots. After dressing the boy ate breakfast, followed by his departure.
As he walked along the paved roads Cross remembered that he had an appoinment with Soul Evans, a member of Shibusen's Spartoi Elite, and a fellow weapon. However unlike himself, Soul was dependant on a Meister, a girl named Maka Alburn, who was currently away. Leaving Soul alone without any missions, since he lacks the skills needed to fight on his own. Which is why Cross had been appointed the job of helping him to develope combat skills related to his partial transformations. Such was the way an autonomous weapon fought against an enemy.
Coming upon the school, Cross realized he was running slightly behind schedule, a realization that led him into a slight jog as he made his way onto the Academy grounds. Scanning the premises he spotted an irratable looking Soul. Immeadiately he made his approach.
[Teal]"How long have you been waiting?"[/teal]

Again and again the young demon scythe checked his clock. He had been waiting for a full hour now, Cross was so gonna get it. A sigh escaped his lips as he began to turn around, giving up. He'll have to pound on him later. It was at about that time that he saw a young man jog towards him from the corner of his eye. "It's about time." He said watching the boy finally reach him. Hearing his question, Soul wanted to let him have it, but he was really looking forward to his practice time. He needed to get stronger so he could protect himself while Maka was away.
"Long enough, so let's get started." The demon scythe walked out in the open and got into a stance ready to start fighting. He wasn't completely sure how to be ready for his lesson, but he was definitely ready to get going. Fighting excited him, more than anyone realized; it made him feel alive. It made him forget about his hidden insecurities and focus on kicking someone's ass.
"So what do you want me to do first?"

At most times Cross was reluctant towards holding back on his verbal assualt towards people like Soul, however this time he felt it was necessary to just hold off, and deliver it in the form of a physical one. Of course the boy would be sure to keep it at a limit considering the two were only going to be training today. This in no way stopped Cross from responding to Soul's demeanor with a smirk so mischievous, if others knew his intentions they would beg to differ thinking it was all a lie. Of course it wasn't in no way a stretch from the truth. Which is why when Soul asked what Cross wanted him to do first, the smirk, a trademark of his, grew so wide that it looked like there was a split across his face.
[Teal]"Hehe...."[/teal]
A low maniacal chuckle, of some sorts and origin irrupted from the teen's vocal canals. Usually he would refrain from doing such a thing in a serious matter. Though on this specific occasion he simply couldn't help himself. Was it because of his position above Soul, in terms of being a capable weapon? His urge to cause Soul pain? Or perhaps the utter joy the thought of fighting brought the weapon.
[Teal]"How's about we start with a spar, considering you've already taken a stance suited for battle."[/teal]
While the words were fluttering from his mouth Cross himself took a stance. His however was more structural in a sense. His right arm had been drawn back as if ready to strike. However his hand remained unclenched. Meanwhile his left arm was held by his side unphased by his sudden shift in movements. With legs parted, the smirk he once wore faded, replaced with a determined look upon his face.
[Teal]"Let us begin, shall we?"[/teal]
