WEAPON
[/font][/blockquote][/blockquote]Name: Patricia Thompson
Alias: Patty
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Weapon Type: Pistol
Appearance: Slim but on the larger side in her chest area, Patty is the shorter, less mature version of her sister Liz. She has short blonde hair which is usually covered by a white and blue hat. She has the same shirt as her sister, a red tank top and white tie that exposes her midriff. She wears shorts instead of jeans like Liz, which really irks her symmetry-obsessed meister, Death the Kid. Patty wears boots with this outfit. Her round eyes are bright, electric blue in colour and always wide with excitement or amusement. Her lips are always spread wide in a grin, making her eyes shine brighter than ever. Her slim wrists hold white bracelets much like the ones her sister wears. Patty is quite short, measuring probably only five feet or five-foot-one at maximum. This doesn't stop her from being rude and overexcitable (and sometimes violent), however. Size obviously doesn't measure personality, and Patty is a perfect example (and proof) of this statement. The only thing that can be related between Patty's height and her personality, perhaps, is her short temper which erupts every so often. picture.
In weapon form, Patty is a shiny silver pistol, one of two (her sister Liz being the other part of the pair). They both have the same unique design on their cold, metal sides. Patty's weapon form is exactly identical to that of her older sister's, ironically, which gives them the name "the twin pistols". It's strange, however, that Patty looks so different from Liz in her human form, as they look so exactly alike in weapon form. Patty's image matches her personality, though, and her eyes always shine with the grin on her lips.
Personality: Patty is one of the most happy-go-lucky, cheerful girl you could meet. It's true that she gets violently angry for no apparent reason sometimes, but this is only occasional. It's usually caused by something trivial, like heat exhaustion or something of the like. But, just as she can get angry, Patty is easily amused and impressed, and certainly easily excited about things. She is always talking about random things like giraffes, which she loves. Patty finds it extremely amusing to annoy Death the Kid, her meister, and laughs at his symmetry-related spazz-attacks and symmetry-caused nosebleeds. She finds it even more funny when he goes on about him being "asymmetrical garbage", which she knows to be true and doesn't hesitate to say so. Her sister is the opposite of her, however, because she is always trying to calm Kid down. Patty thinks it's more fun to get him riled up, but she does as Liz says. After all, Liz is her big sister! What would she do without her? Patty cares for both Liz and Kid, as they're the only family she has. She is a pretty good fighter, actually, though sometimes gets carried away. Not that she really needs to do anything now that Kid is controlling both her and Liz. She used to have to shoot Liz and vice versa, but not anymore, so now all she had to do was sit back and enjoy the show! Patty laughs a lot, and furthermore loves to laugh. It makes light of everything, and makes life much more enjoyable. Don't you think?
Patty isn't just fond of Liz and Kid. She loves all her friends, and loves to hang out with them! They're all so funny in all their different ways. Tsubaki and Maka are so quiet and hardworking, but then there's Black Star who's a loudmouth, just like Patty! And then of course there's Soul, who's always talking about things that are "cool". Patty wonders about this. She doesn't think it's that important to try to be "cool" as long as you're having fun!
Patty is a bubbly girl that can be a bit of a "ditz" sometimes. She lacks common sense, for the most part, and doesn't really seem like she cares about anything but giraffes and having fun. Surely there are other things that lie deeper within her mind and heart, but if there is more emotions than the basics of "happy", "exuberant", "excitable", and "angry", she certainly doesn't show it. But, maybe that's for the best. A Patty that acted like, say, Tsubaki, would be an interesting sight to see but a bit disturbing. Because Patty is so bubbly and carefree, she makes her personality her own, and that makes her unique.
History: Patty grew up on the streets with her sister, Elizabeth Thompson. They always kind of fended for themselves, mugging people for their money and food. Their life was the streets of New York City. They'd take turns using each other as weapons and scaring the crap out of poor, unsuspecting, innocent citizens (and even sometimes not-so-innocent bikers), and threatening them until they got what they wanted. That was their life and they knew no different. Liz, being the older and more responsible of the two (even back then) had always taken care of Patty, who was rather reckless. She was like the ringleader of their two-person gang, and Patty always listens to her "big sis". They are very close and they always worked together- not that they don't now, because they do, more than ever. They had to be strong, which they were, in order to survive on the streets like they did. They strengthened themselves considerably while fighting like that. Every day was like a gamble for their lives, as they wondered whether they'd eat that day or not.
That is, until they met Death the Kid.
Kid is now their meister, a very strong one at that because he is the son of Lord Death, a Shinigami. Patty is very happy now, because she has a nice meister and she and Liz get to live comfortably. They met Kid one day when they tried to mug him by confronting him one night in New York City. He turned out to be quite the freakshow, ranting about the symmetry of their weapon forms, and begging them to come with him. Patty thought this was very amusing, and so after thinking about it, Liz agreed on behalf of her sister and herself. They've lived comfortably after that, being in the rich lifestyle and living in Lord Death's mansion. They don't have to worry about food now, and Patty is very glad about that. She and her sister are living well and are in good hands.
Shortly after joining Kid, Patty began attending Death Weapon Meister Academy, or DWMA, with Liz and Kid. Their first day was one to remember, certainly, as Kid got in a fight with Black Star within minutes of his (late) arrival. Naturally (and technically) Kid, Liz, and Patty won the fight, but after the fact when Kid realized that Soul, who'd teamed up with Black Star for the fight, had made his hair (even more) asymmetrical, he got a massive nosebleed and passed out, making Black Star and Soul the winners by default. Patty found this extremely hilarious, and had pranced around her sister who was carrying Kid, poking her meister and laughing at him. She didn't really care whether they'd won or lost against Black Star, because the whole thing was rather funny. It was an interesting ordeal that took place on their first day of school, to say the least.
Ever since then, Patty's made herself at home in Death City, and made lots of nice friends (and some enemies, too). She loves it here and doesn't ever plan to leave.
Soul Resonance: This section will be filled in after acceptance by a mod once you have earned it with a partner. All weapons start out with the following ability; Partial Transformation.
- Death Cannon - Turns into a gigantic gun going pretty much all the way up Kid's arm, along with Liz, who does the same on the other arm. They resonate and have a countdown, and then when she's stable, they shoot an enormous, powerful compression of their meister's wavelength, far more powerful than the normal, smaller versions that her regular form exudes.
Performance: All of Patty's strengths and weaknesses really depend on Kid, but since he has good aim (as long as he's not distracted by symmetry, of course), she's quite good herself- a very powerful weapon indeed. With the aid of her sister they make a very good threesome of a team. The only problem with Patty is that she gets easily distracted. That, and her sister is afraid of ghosts. Those two things might temporarily keep the two from transforming, which is not a good thing when they're in danger.

"Yay, ice cream!" cheered the easily amused blonde. She, Liz, and Kid were walking down the street after class one very hot day in Death City, and Patty had spotted an ice-cream stand, to Kid's dismay (or rather, his wallet's). "Hey Kid, can we get some? Please? Please? PLEEEEEEASE?" she begged, pointing at the vendor's cart. Kid, knowing better than to say no to Patty, agreed, and they were on their way.
"You got chocolate?" Patty asked the vendor, leaning over the side of the ice-cream cart to peer inside. "I want chocolate." she said with a nod, not waiting to hear the answer to her question. She waited for the man to scoop the ice cream onto the cone and then took it and licked the already-melting chocolate happily. Kid sighed, bought two vanilla, paid for the cones, and handed Liz hers. The two followed behind Patty at a safe distance, wondering when the sugar rush would kick in. If only they'd taken the side street.... perhaps then they wouldn't have to deal with her at home when the sugar rush did decide to kick in.
Patty was walking in an odd manner on the top of a bench, trying to balance, as she finished the ice cream, popping the last bite of cone into her mouth and rubbing her stomach, a glow of satisfaction on her face. "Yum!" she said, and jumped off the bench to continue her odd walk to a small playground. She jumped into the sandbox and began drawing a giant giraffe with a conveniently located stick. She giggled as she finished it, and drew a little malformed sand-heart next to it. "Giraffe...." she said fondly, and began to draw a little pig next to it. "Oink, oink!"
Liz raised an eyebrow and took her younger sister by the arm. "Come on, Patty," she said. Her voice showed that she was very tired and that the heat wasn't making her any less so. Patty obliged but looked irritable, staring up at the sun and shaking her fist at it.
"It's so freaking hot, dammit!" she yelled to no one in particular. Finally, they'd reached the mansion, and the only thing on Liz's mind (other than the air conditioning) was the hope that the heat had evaporated any sugar that would be making Patty hyper.
