WEAPON
[/font][/blockquote][/blockquote]Name: John Ginty
Alias: The Exterminator
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Weapon Type:
- Drill (Autonomous Weapon): John’s full weapon form is that of a gigantic drill. Like Giriko, he is a weapon that is large enough to be wielded by a large golem or a giant. However, since he is no golem engineer, nor does he know a giant, he chooses to be an autonomous weapon, and mostly uses his partial transformation in combat.
- Partial Transformation: In his partial transformation, John’s hand becomes the head of the drill. While it can’t spin as fast as his full weapon form, it can still drill through flesh and bone.

Weapon Form
John Ginty is among what you’d expect a citizen of New York City would look like. He is a Caucasian male with a thin, yet healthy build. Standing at five feet and seven inches tall, while weighing one hundred and forty pounds, he is at a pretty average height for a sixteen year old male. His hair is a messy, thick red mop of hair. His heart-shaped face is what you would expect of a teenager with his thin build. His eyes are a cyan color. However, only the left eye shows, as his right eye was gouged out by accident when he had discovered his partial transformation. Overall, John’s appearance is what one would consider normal.
His wardrobe is pretty plain. Over his upper body, he wears a plain t-shirt, mostly with a gray color. On somewhat cold days, he wears a snug blue hooded sweater with a zipper. No matter what season it is, no matter what temperature it is, you will almost always find him in a pair of jeans. The only exception is if he has to wear a pair of slacks. If he is wearing slacks, you can find him in a button-up shirt, along with a blazer to match his slacks as well. On his feet, he will mostly wear a pair of boots, or a pair of high-topped sneakers. Otherwise, to go with the slacks and button-up shirt, he would wear a pair of dress shoes.
In his weapon form, John assumes the form of a massive drill. The head is a massive cone, attached to a metal body. With sheer size alone, it cannot be wielded by a human being. However, a large golem or a giant could wield it.
Personality: John Ginty does not use a facade when in the presence of the general public. First, there is the side that he shows in public. Around people in general, John is a very shy person. He hardly initiates conversation with others, and conversations he does take part in are normally somewhat awkward. However, he can be a very caring person given the circumstances. He will try to show his support for someone, even if his way of showing it is awkward. Overall, John is an awkward, yet nice person in the public eye.
Then there’s the sliver that he hides in public, the side that he allows to take over for his mission. While the personality he shows is not a mere lie, the side that he expresses on his hunts is the part of him he bottles up for his public image. During his raids on the Skeletal Horror hideouts and operations, he shows obvious murderous intent. He takes pleasure in killing members, especially enjoying their screams and their blood spattering across his face. If inquired about these attacks, he will show his remorselessness for killing them, despite them not being on Shinigami’s list. He believes that he is doing something right, by liberating the people of this street gang that has people living in constant fear, that the police can do nothing about. Overall, he believes that means DO justify ends.
However, despite his remorseless and brutal behavior, he had a code about him. Despite the fact that he is engaging in murderous brutality, he still believes he is above them for what he doesn’t do. He doesn’t attack innocent civilians. His targets are strictly criminals, especially the members of the Skeletal Horrors. He does not push the innocent around for his own profit. And even though he is serving a Kishin Egg who will consume the souls of innocent civilians, he doesn’t like it. Serving under him is something he deemed necessary. His ‘master’ gives him training, a base of operations, and adequate resources to carry out his crusade. After all, he is giving the Kishin Egg the souls, and he gives John resources. He perceives his servitude under the Kishin Egg as nothing more than business.
One thing that is known by those who are or were close to him, and could be spotted through Soul Protection, is that John suffers from Survivor’s Guilt. Witnessing the deaths of his parents and doing nothing to stop the gangsters has taken a toll on him. The memories of that night haunt him relentlessly. Despite the fact that his logical mind tells him that he would have died if he had been in the apartment, he still feels guilt for not being there to try and stop them. After he is done with the Skeletal Horrors, he hopes that his master will take his life.
History: John Ginty was born to as middle class family in New York City. The parents were young at the time of birth, but it was planned. The father worked at a Meat Plant, while his mother worked as a cashier at a nearby store. Of course, with such busy lives, he didn’t spend a lot of time with his parents. Instead, his uncle usually watched him, being sixteen at the time of John’s birth. And while it was the uncle who mostly babysat him, the family did remain close nonetheless.
John and his uncle had a very close relationship, until he went to Iraq after September 11th. He was killed in action, something that had saddened John and his parents. However, this did not shake the bonds between his family. And while they still had jobs to hold down, they cherished whatever time they could have together. And while they had their rough patches, like any family, they managed to get through tough times together.
In school, John was a successful student. From the start, he was a somewhat-dedicated, bright child. His favorite subject was science. Along with Math, they were the only subjects he had gotten A’s in, his report card mostly consisting of B’s. And while he didn’t do too well in Physical Education when it came to brute strength, he was capable of running and speed based exercises. Overall, while not the top student in the school, only reaching A’s in a few of his classes, he was a pretty good student.
At the age of twelve, he had awoken from his bed on a supposedly normal morning. At that point, he wiped his eye, only to accidentally destroy it with a drill hand. Aside from the pain from his right eye, he was freaked out to discover his hand was a drill. This was the event where he became blind from his right side, and had discovered his weapon blood as The Demon Drill.
At the age of fourteen, however, things had changed. He was at his friend’s house, playing cards with some other friends that they shared. While he was spending some time with friends, his parent’s apartment was raided by members of the Skeletal Horrors, a local gang on the rise to power. Their house was robbed, and his parents were beaten to death. When John came running home, he saw the police outside of the apartment complex. When he had reached the scene, the officer told him the bad news. To make matters worse, he told him that the likelihood that they’d be caught was slim.
At their funeral, revenge burned like an inferno in John’s mind. The justice system wouldn’t be able to apprehend them. They’d be allowed to make new victims, to grow. This had made John angry. As he contemplated revenge, as if the planets aligned, he was approached by a man in a suit. He had heard about the boy, and what the street gang had done to his family. He had made a proposal to him, that if he were allowed to have their souls, that he would oversee a revenge crusade. However, it would come at a price, his soul. Feeling like he had nothing to live for, John accepted the bargain. As for his orphaned status, the Kishin Egg named Ed Harley had adopted him as his own son. However, their relationship was not of a father-and-son nature, but nothing more than business.
Over the past two years, he had operated in the shadows, killing off members of the Skeletal Horrors little by little. Of course, the killings of their members by a drill hand hasn’t gone unnoticed by the living members. He has topped their ‘black list’, and have made one of their goals his death.

Performance:
Fighting Style: John mostly employs underhanded tactics when fighting enemies. Kicking them in the crotch, poking them in the eyes, using a nearby object to back them in the head, etc are not below him. Whatever it takes to even the odds, he will do. He mostly employs ambush tactics and stealth in order to get the jump on enemies. He favors his partial transformation in close combat. His use of ambush and stealth is because of his lack of brute strength, and inability to take pain.

RP Sample: It was raining cats and dogs in the cemetery. The two bodies of his parents were being lowered into the holes dug for their coffins. A crowd of people, all dressed in black, grieving over the dead stood near the sight, praying for them. Among those attending the burial was John Ginty, their only son.
It hadn’t been that long since John was running on home, only to find the police gathered around the complex. And then the hard news that his parents were beaten to death by hooligans, and that there was little the police could do. It wasn’t fair how they gripped the city in fear to the point where the police were helpless.
The tears that flowed down his left cheek were hidden by the torrential downpour. His hand balled up into a fist. His expression contorted into rage. If the police couldn’t do anything about them, then he’d take care of them himself. Even if he’d be punished for what he was about to do, it would be worth it to kill them all. Not just to avenge his parents, but to liberate the people of the city from their reign of terror.
---
After the burial was finished, the boy stayed behind to pay his respects. Despite the brutal rain, he would not be pried away from paying his respects until he was done. As he mentally said his goodbyes, a tall figure walked up behind him. It wasn’t until he put his hand on John’s shoulder that he noticed him. John immediately turned to face the finely dressed gentlemen.
“I’m sorry about your loss. . .”, he told the boy.
“Who are you”, asked John, quite startled by the man's sudden presence.
“I’m someone who can help you, if you help me. . .”, explained the man.
“What do you want?”, asked John.
“I can give you the chance to kill members of the Skeletal Horrors. . .”, said the man with a sinister grin.
“Go on. . .”, said John, obviously intrigued. It was as if someone had answered his mental cries for revenge. To John, it felt like a miracle.
“I will provide you with teachings, a base of operations, resources to take down these punks. . .”, continued the strange man.
“But you must do something for me in exchange. . .”, he told the boy.
“What?”, asked the boy, clearly desperate for a chance to take them down.
“You must give me their souls. . .”, he stated. While the gang was murderous, none of the members were Kishin Eggs. They wouldn’t be missed by anyone except their fellow members, it was a perfect arrangement. Not only would he avenge his family, but he would get extra souls without effort.
After a brief silence, the boy looked the man in the face. “Deal. . .”, he told the man plainly.
And thus began the partnership of John Ginty and Ed Harley. . .
