The teams
There are two classes: Direct and Indirect. The Direct are the main body of the group, usually three or four depending on the job. They usually have enhanced speed, strength and intelligence. The Indirect are in higher numbers (five or six), usually enhanced in sight, hearing and smell. Sometimes the have the ability to predict a lose future.
There is another type of Direct, called a Maintainer. The Maintainers make sure that the Directs and Indirects stay alive during the course of a mission. They are usually snipers, or have some kind of psychokinetic power. A team usually has two in a mission.
Basic team layout:
Directs- 3
Indirects- 2
Maintainers- 1
The missions usually require searching paranormal areas or hunting monsters, either capturing them or putting them to rest. They are never allowed to kill a target. The snipers usually have tranquilizers.
There are four ranks to a teams cooperation. These ranks are more powerful and regarded as they go up, getting more privileges.
1st rank: Starters
2nd rank: Runner-ups
3rd rank: Contesters
4th rank: Supremes
Usually, a master will direct a group into a mission. A master is usually a teacher of some kind. They refrain from giving to much information, and generally drop hints in their casual speak, which Maintainers or Indirects will have to decipher if they figure out that it means something. Codes are placed -and are most commonly found- in what the students dub, ‘bable talk’. This is essentially when a teacher starts talking about irrelevant topics such as books and computer codes. Hidden meanings are not always the direct answer, and require extraordinary brain power.

The school is made for students who have enhanced abilities so that they can carry out tasks set by the headmaster. Many students find it impossible to get grades above C, which is a generic trait among mainly Directs and Indirects. Maintainers tend to be of higher intelligence, being to cleverest is a team. They rarely get bellow B grades, which makes them harder to guess upon, because many suspected Maintainers are regular humans, and by the time the school have figured it out, the Maintainer they were originally after has probably lost connection to any enhanced abilities.
Maintainers do lose touch with their abilities and/or senses if they go undiscovered or neglected. It is a major concern for the school, since the number of Maintainers drop quickly every two generations, and it according to the schools figures, if a Maintainer goes undiscovered, they are seven times more likely to develop heart problems later on.
