Experience: I have been roleplaying since I was about 9- which is to say about seven or so years, now. I've been on various forums throughout that time, of course. To name a few recent ones, there's Rising Sun and Underland (which I just recently joined). I was also a member of Immanent God Blues, another Soul Eater roleplaying forum.

I haven't been a mod (for long, at least) on any other active forums, I regret to say. However, I was an administrator of various Wikia wikis for a few years, particularly the Left 4 Dead and BioShock wikis.

Why?: I suppose it's a bit soon for me to be asking for this, so if you don't think I'm right, I can totally understand. But either way, I'd like this position so that I can help out around the forum, mostly with the small, tedious things no one else would care to do, which I can respect. Typoes? I made a sort of career finding typoes on those wikis I mentioned before. If I say so myself, I'm a great proofreader. I also enjoy writing, so I can help spice things like plot and mission descriptions, if you need it.

I'm also pretty patient. I pay attention to details. You have to be patient and pay close attention on wikis, especially big ones like the ones I ran. There were always people with questions, or people that were looking to cause trouble! Naughty little editors. But as many incidents of vandalism as we had every day, you'd never catch me flipping out over them. I try to keep a very level head even when dealing with those types.

Another thing I'm sure you'd look for in a mod is availability. Well, to be completely honest I have little to no life (more so in the summer, when you're going to see the most activity). I'm free pretty much any day of the week, save for Saturdays, when in the mornings I do volunteer work. This means I can keep an eye on things, and will most likely spot profiles just as soon as they're made so that I can get people going faster. Faster profile processing means more posting, thus more activity. And that's always nice, isn't it?

So, why now, even though I've only been here for a day? Well, for one, this forum is charming. Secondly, I find that if there's anything that needs cleaning up, it's best for me to start working on it early. After the third or fourth time of reading a post, I'm not going to notice typoes and the like as fast. Besides, you mentioned that you were going to send out an e-mail to your old members soon, right? I think it would be a mighty fine thing to have another helping hand around to keep an eye on them, as well as someone who's willing to clean up anything they (or anyone else, for that matter) might do.

I suppose that's about it. Again, if you think it's too soon, I totally respect your decision. No hard feelings. I'll just try again some other time. In the mean time, I'll still be willing to help out in any way I can, of course.
