Alana was glad that her movements had carried through as well as she had hoped. She worried about his strength. Him trying to swing her much harder would have held her back. She didn’t stand a chance against his strength. Legs nicely around him, a good grip on his arm. Just how she wanted. Just how she planned. It made the girl smile in triumph. She had overcome him a bit, at least allowed herself to avoid danger for the moment. But… she still was in close proximity.
And that’s when it came again. That pause. Slay had given her this same type of treatment when he had first laid eyes on her. It was that out of character hesitation, like he wasn’t quite sure how to handle himself. Though Alana could not place the exact reason for this change, she took her chance. He left plenty of opening for her. But… it seemed she was in just as bad of a situation as she would have had him in. She was too close. Alana didn’t have the strength that Slay did, and the limited room wouldn’t allow her to build up any momentum. Besides… that really hadn’t done much last time. Her choice at the moment? Make up for the mistake she had made. Get away from him.
The same confident smile she had at their meeting, she gave a him a quick tug with her legs, closer to herself, then jerked her whole body away from him at once. Unswinging her legs from around him and pushing off his body, wrenching her arm from his hold. She just was trying her hardest to get out of his immediate touch. He was dangerous, especially to her when they were fighting.
If she got out of his hold, that smile would remain. Regardless, her name was spoken. Confident voice, maybe a bit cocky. She liked him, whether he would find that out or not, he seemed he may be thick in the head. “Alana Foster, Demon Cestus.” Pausing for a quick moment, her mind raced on what to say next. This man… if they could partner, she’d just fall over and die. Well… not really, but this guy was exactly who she wanted. And she was going to if it was at all possible. A faintly more mischievous look crossed her face as she attempted to keep her distance from him, yet still kept her body ready for any oncoming attack.
“I’m hopefully guessing that you’re a meister. I’ve seen no weapon form, and your strength is outstanding. I might have to kill you if you decide not to be my partner.” Her expression turned more into a grin, her hands slowly forming fists and then relaxing open again. She was anxious for his response. What if he turned her down? That would not be good…

Confusion filled the mind of the this meister as his opponent lay hold to him. Although suddenly in his moment of confusion the girl was able use her time to slip far away from his position. At the same time this motion had knocked the sleeping giant into finally waking his ass up. Or in other words Slay shook his head a few times and finally came to. Now no longer frozen like an ice sculpture Slay was nearly ready for action once again.
He quickly came to realize his opponents position, and was half wondering how she got over there. At any rate Slay was back and ready to smash a skull or two. Although his inevitable attack was yielded by his opponent's speech. “Alana Foster, Demon Cestus.” At first Slay raised an eyebrow, but shortly after a big smile came across his face. It was about time he got a name from his stuborn opponent, and now he knew what to put on her headstone... Not really.“I’m hopefully guessing that you’re a meister. I’ve seen no weapon form, and your strength is outstanding. I might have to kill you if you decide not to be my partner.”
If Slay wasn't already smiling as big as he could he would have braudened his smile. If there was anything he knew about this girl, it was that she was tough, a weapon, and an awesome fighter. Slay chuckled. "Please, you're good Alana, but the day someone good enough to kill me comes into this earth, the universe will explode!" His voice raised at that last word as he charged at his opponent both fists raised, and then just as he got close enough he slammed his hands together causing a small ripple in the air around them. "But I have to say you've definatly made an impact on me. I'd have to be an idiot if I didn't say yes."
Slay then raised his right fist, and slammed it into the ground just hard enough to crack the surface. More of a show off performance then an attack since he didn't even aim for her. "So what do ya say? Lets make an Impact!"
(OOC: Official Team Moment! xD And a rather destructive one at that.)

It hadn’t taken long, but Slay was once again attentive and himself again. What exactly had she done that had caused him so much uncertainty? She recalled the same reaction before, at a lower degree, but like… he didn’t know what to do. It bothered Alana a bit, that there was a weakness she couldn’t quite pinpoint. It also concerned her, that if he became her partner, that sort of pause could get them both killed. She would have to find out the cause and beat it out of him. She would not risk dying because he didn’t know how to react…
Attentive and ready, he looked as if a new fire had been set in him. A smile crept across the girl’s face at that. Good. At least he could come back from a falter such as that. Even though she had held off whatever he had in store for her, she was glad to see him pleased. He got her name, that’s one reason that seemed extremely plausible as to why that smile had crossed his face. Why exactly that caused him to smile, she couldn’t say she knew, but if her name was enough to get him to grin at that point, that didn’t exactly irritate her.
It seemed her comment amused him as well. She believed it would, that’s partially why she had said it. The chance that it would irritate him was present as well, this competitive man may not have wanted to have his life challenged by her, not even verbally. But.. She would be angry if he didn’t accept her ‘offer.’ Alana had found exactly what she wanted in a partner, him. Slay Williams was the man that she wanted to train with, fight Kishin wish, resonate with… he was a perfect fit. Their combined attitude towards competition and fighting, their confidence, his use of his fists as a ‘weapon’ and she was a weapon for the fist. She believed they would work very well.
A smile remained on Alana’s face as the man let out a quiet sort of laugh, but she didn’t let her guard down. She had rushed him before, but she wasn’t taking chances with him again. He was too dangerous. Strong and competitive, and thankfully not stupid. So much to like about this one. His reply to her comment almost made her laugh, but a confident smile is what remained, she held back laughter for now. Takes too much energy away from what her body should be doing. He didn’t think she could kill him. And in all truth, she severely doubted that as well. It would take more than her avoiding his attacks to take him down and out.
Just as she suspected, he came to attack her. Ready for what was coming, her body was ‘tense’ in the sense that she would move however she needed when she found out how she wanted. His fists were raised, she only guessed he would use them, but how? He was coming at her, full force, just as he always seemed to do. This man was all about force. She held her ground though, didn’t want to move until she figured out what he was doing or she felt too threatened. Then, just as she meant to back up, he clapped his hands together. It surprised her, the amount of force that he could put in and through his body. The air rippling from the connection of his hands, she took a step back just from being partially surprised. Though Alana didn’t look it, she never really could fully expect what he had in store.
He gave her a bit of time to recover though, speaking to her. He was saying yes. She didn’t know when she had stopped smiling, probably when he had rushed at her… But now, there was a grin on her face once again, greatly pleased and happy. She relaxed a bit, probably a mistake she would pay for, but regardless her body relaxed slightly. He said yes. Exactly what she wanted.
Then another movement, he raised on fist this time. An attack. Alana readied herself again, ready to move away at the sight of a movement towards her. But… to the ground again? His fist did indeed make contact with the ground, but not enough force to make the ground quiver was used. The competitive spark returning to her expression, she kept her eyes on his face. “Let’s make an Impact.” she repeated with certainty. And that’s when she moved. Spinning around once, she aimed her right foot for the hand he had hit into the ground. She was planning on using the momentum from her spin to strengthen her kick. Make it look like a worthwhile attack, but in all reality, as soon as any contact was made, Alana was going to attempt to take her weapon form around the fist she was aiming for. Just to try.
