It was another Tuesday at the old high school. His classes were Gym, Math, Science, Humanities, Art, and History. The good thing about days like this were the classes. Math and Science were his favorite classes. Otherwise, he was pretty much pigeonholed into doing the art class. Since he had absolutely no musical talent, it was his only choice. Gym was. . . Gym class to the weapon. Same fat hypocrite shouting at the class. And Social Studies lied somewhere in the middle. While it wasn’t a bad class, it certainly wasn’t his favorite.
After the intercom buzzed to indicate the end of the day, students swarmed the hallways in doves. Some were heading to relieve themselves in the restrooms. Some joined up with friends to talk over the end of the day. The others, like John, just went to their lockers to store their things and grab their coats. The boy, garbed in a red t-shirt, a gray hoodie, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of high-topped sneakers, unloaded his book bag of text books. In exchange, he took out a green jacket, which is quickly slipped into. After finishing his business, he walked outside, towards home.
It didn’t take long before he crossed into the bustling city on the way home. The familiar sound of car horns and car doors slamming filled the air around him. The cold air was cutting against his skin as he walked towards his home, huddling up within his green jacket. Eventually, he stood at a crossing, waiting for the red pedestrian light to turn green. After a few minutes, the light finally turned green, and everyone in the small crowd crossed the street.

After learning of her nature as a witch Amaterasu had gone to the United States in order to be with her own kind. When she finally gained control of her magic the young witch sought out her mother's birthplace. Her destination; a city along the Northeastern part of the States. Being a witch and all Amaterasu chose to travel in style, as such she required the use of her broom to enable flight over a long distance. For hours she flew, taking breaks along the way, ultimately reaching the desired city in little over a day. Landing just outside the city Amaterasu dispelled her broom composed of blood, causing her footwear to return.
[Purple]"Soul protect...."[/purple]
In chanting the words the witch cast the spell which allowed her soul to remain undetected by those of Shibusen, or any other threats for that matter. Then as if all was going great she walked beyond the perimeter of the city and into it's busy interior, trying not to draw much attention to herself. Of course she was aware that her being donned in a Victorian style dress suggested she did not belong as one of the city's inhabitants. So rather than travel along the large, crowded streets, Amaterasu kept to the alleyways and housing districts.
All was peaceful until the witch was greeted by a couple of shady men, who seemed rather, old, probably around their late fourties. Regardless, age didn't matter, if they wished to remain a hinderance towards Amaterasu's goal, then she would surely remove them from this world.
[Purple]"I must insist that you venture else where to seek what ever it is you want with me."[/purple]
The demands of her sweet, uniquely soft voice were replied to with sheer and utter laughter, that rang so loud it filled the entire alley. Both men continued, their choice in casting off her demand served as a mockery to the witch. Of course her temper could not permit such a crime. Not waiting for either man to reply with any smart ass comments, Amaterasu dispelled her protection spell before requiring the ability of another.
[Purple]"Daggers..."[/purple]
The words she spoke were brought to fruition when a pair of daggers formed in each of her hands. A slight portion of her sleeves was abscent, indicating she had used that bit of blood as a medium to conjure the blades. With little to no hesitation she lunged forward flicking her right arm out towards the direction of the man closest to her, ending his life as a dagger flew from her grasp and made its way into his chest. Stricken with fear the remaining man yelled, well more like screamed before attempting to flee. The attempt was feable, for Amaterasu stopped her persuit and once more flung her arm outwards. This time her tossing of the dagger resulted in slowing the man's movements, since the dagger had penetrated his leg.
[Purple]"Gun..."[/purple]
Within thirty seconds after speaking the word Amaterasu had gathered the blood which had poured from the hole she created in the first man's chest, and formed it into a single revolver. It was odd that she conjured only one, but the situation required just that. Taking aim she adjusted her arm so that the barrel was aligned with the man's head, before she squeezed the trigger. A loud bang erupted within the alley as a bullet was released that delt a fatal life ending blow to the man, surely to be heard by those nearby.
[Purple]"How is one to enjoy theirself if they allow ones such as these to interrupt them?"[/purple]
The question was seemingly cast out towards the lifeless corpses that lay before the girl's feet. However it was rhetorical and hinted towards her annoyance at the interruption. If by some miracle of fate if she were interrupted again, it would be by one who presented more of a challenge, Amaterasu would be very pleased in continuing to roam the city in which her mother spent her childhood.

Meanwhile, within the confines of one of the residences sat Ed Harley. Sit in a large, leather-bound seat, the Kishin Egg poured over the contents of a simple folder. On his face formed a bloody, toothy grin. On Friday night, the business man would get more souls than he ever had in one night. Aside from the rather large bounty he had set up for his associate, he would also go hunt for some of his own.
As he was closing up the folder, he heard something from outside. Putting his drink down, the Kishin Egg walked outside to see the source of the commotion. When he got to the scene of the crime, he saw a man running away from woman in a Victorian outfit. The man had a dagger thrown through his leg, slowing him down. Then she muttered 'gun' as blood from a corpse manifested into a gun. She then shot the man to death with the manifested revolver. Intrigued, the man closed in on the woman as she muttered something about not being able to enjoy herself.
"If you want to enjoy yourself, perhaps I could arrange something. . .", said the Kishin Egg in a shady manner, announcing his presence to the woman. "You see, I have a job that might. . .", he continued, looking down at the corpses of the men during the pause. "Interest someone like you.", he finished.

The moment she had declared her displeasure, the witch was taken a bit by surprise when she heard a voice present itself behind her. Her initial thoughts were that the voice belonged to an onlooker, a fan perhaps. But then she began to process the words the voice had spoken, a job offer, one extended to her not only because she was bored. But also because appearantly the stranger was aware of a person like her. A red flag of course popped into her mind of course, leaving the witch in a state of mental turmoil.
Turning to properly address the speaker, Amaterasu raised her arm, adjusting her aim so that the barrel of her makeshift revolver faced the unknown person. Her eyes however took the opportunity to assess the man, who donned a business suit and appeared rather shady. If anything he presented himself as a criminal class businessman.
[Purple]"Before we address your business offer, would you be so kind as to share what you may know about someone such as myself? Additionally, how would you know if your job would be of interest to me? "[/purple]
With that said, Amaterasu finally brought her eyes upon the face of the man. The details which lay so openly upon his face suggested that her assumption based on his attire and demeanor, was certaintly close to being accurate. Of course her judgement had become much better due to the centuries of dealing with shady characters.

The man grinned when the woman pointed the gun at him. She then took a moment to look over the Kishin Egg. Then, she addressed him, asking him some questions. How he would know about someone like her, and if his job would interest her. Of course, the man stood still through it all, still grinning.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to have the ability to manifest weapons from blood, as with the revolver. . .", he told her. "Now, as for the job at hand, I will tell you that there will be blood. And if I am right about your abilities, someone like you could use the blood. As for anything else you'd like for participating in this job, I'd be happy to negotiate something with you. . .", he told her.
"Of course, should you reject the offer to undertake this operation, then I could send another of my associates to exterminate these people, and that will be that. . .", he told her. Even if she didn't accept the job, he wouldn't bother retaliating. Even if he wanted to kill a witch, he was in no place to kill her.

Amaterasu set her eyes to an intense glare at the Man's mention of her manipulation of blood; a keen observation for such a short amount of time. Which brought the witch to wonder how long he had actually been watching her, and why wasn't he taken back after witnessing her abilities. He surely wasn't oblivious to the world outside the lives of normal humans, perhaps he too was of the supernatural realm. He didn't seem young, however he was naive in assuming he could merely entice her with a casual emphasis on "Blood", which he was right in stating she could use some, however it wasn't as necessary as he made it seem.
Then there was the way he pressed on with promise of additional gifts through negotiation. Perhaps he thought Amaterasu to be as she appeared, a teenager to be taken advantage of. If this is how he acted towards her, then he must have gained experience in gathering young helpers in his years. Although she was a witch Amaterasu felt she should investigate the matter further in hopes of discovering what he truly was and what type of job he had planned to assign to her.
[Purple]"You are appearantly one who isn't foreign to the supernatural. So, if i may inquire, what are you?"[/purple]
Of course she'd start with this question. Perhaps the man was a simply who has had experience with the realm she resided in. However the fact that he stated his job included blood, along with the assumed experience indicated otherwise. Bringing Amaterasu to the conclusion that he was of the dark nature. In which he could only be one of three things. Either a Dark weapon, a Kishin egg, or a full grown Kishin. Now of which Amaterasu was in the mood to tolerate.
