Appearance: Edward is a well chiseled man and is very good looking, he always wears a smirk he has a wavy back hair that will occasionally start to smoke, his black bandana usually has the jolly roger insignia on it, He wears a white overshirt that opened and show's his well chiseled abs. He's very rough around the edges in his language, he has a chopped up and rather illeterate way of talking, His neck has 2 distinctive weapons on it a flintlock knife and a sword, each was to represent an aspect of his personality, in the sun the Sword seems to suck light while in the night the flintlocks glow,Only He knews why they glow it is the source of all his magic and so the bright part is his fire while the dark part is his intentions. His dark yellow sash contains one of his personal items, a nice a flask of always full rum that never seems to run out , his eyes are a dark brown and have a mischievous look to them
Personality: Black beard is a very rebellious man and refuses to take orders from anyone, he is a free person and will never be manipulated, His intentions are more mischievous then evil but he doesn't regret killing anyone, he has executed many people in his life and shows no remorse. He has been detached from everyone ever since Julie died and will not take kindly to any other people, the only other people he even think of talking to are other witches.
He is a very greedy man who feels more comfortable on the see rather than on land as a reminder of his long lost love he keeps a rum flask that used to belong to her, Mention of his wife will make him harsh and distant but normally he'll be loud and rambunctious and sometimes if not all the time drunk. He will often share stories about himself reffering himself in the third person and making himself grander than he really was. He knows people revere him as one of the most infamous pirates that ever lived so he uses that to his advantage and will use this boisterious claims to make himself more threatning.
Fighting Style: He uses his smoke to blind the enemy and either make a quick exit or prepare a fire spell, he can see very well after being accustomed to so many years of smoke and so he can fire his flintlock into his smoke and almost always be near his target, When an enemy gets near him he'll take out with his sword

Spells: Soul Protect: Can disguise his soul and make it seem like a regular person's.
Inferno: Can engulf a person in a tornado of flames but like every tornado there is an eye, a very small one but can make the right person able to dodge it
Smoke screen: Can summon a smoke screen that can temporarily hide him from enemy
Mimic: Can Mimic people's voices Perfectly but his appearance stays the same (more for psychological warfare)
Fire bomb: Shoots a relatively small fireball that does medium damage
History: The first stages of his life were perfect but he was cooped up on a small island in the Caribbeans and wanted to be free and with sheer determination and courage he made his own raft and set sail, some time later that raft became a ship and he became it's captain and soon his reputation grew, he burned down whole towns for the fun of it and he put little smoke bombs in his beard and made himself seem like a flaming ghoul in the night and frightened his enemies. His ways soon became known to all which is when he used his rep and started hoarding treasure, he has billions of dollars with of treasure stashed away in a secret place which is why he is very wealthy today but only he knows the location of the treasure.
He then met Julie in a Tavern he had come to destroy the tavern for not paying him a certain amount of money, This is where Julie a long time customer put a knife up to his neck and threatened to kill him if he didn't leave, so Black Beard took her back to his ship instead and locked her up in the ship's cabin where she killed the guards positioned there and revealed herself as a witch and forced him to take her with him before she set the whole ship on fire and from then on black beard respected her even the crew revered her and soon she proved herself to be a valuable asset and became very attached to Edward.
She became his right hand man and his most trusted advisor and soon this relationship became love and at some point they even had children, For black beard the only woman who ever had the courage to stand up to him and for her the only man who could take her around the world and be free of fear but this was not to last a few years later she was capture by the british navy and killed but she knew this was coming so a year before she was captured she gave Edward a Sword and a flintlock that was forged from her magical power and gave Edward her power as well, including the ability to live forever and change his appearance and after 300 years of living with these tools there magic has made a partial fusion with his soul granting him all the abilities of his lover and wife and making him a "Warlock" of sorts
Of all his children only one was a witch but Edward did not know that and gave up his children for adoption and they were soon taken in by a Shaman, His only witch child is named Loor and is currently hunting for Black Beard so she can learn the truth about her family and her father, Black Beard just didn't have the resources to take care of them and his pirate ship wasn't the safest or best place to raise kids so he gave them up like any caring father would.
RP Sample: Edward walked into his tavern he had exited to go take a quick piss and now he was back and to his dismay Simone was about to drink his rum, "oye wanka get off my rum you bloody scoundrel or I'll poke your era out and sell the to the nearest witch" which happened to be Edward the man was scrawny and Definitly drunk "I'm.... Sorry sir I was just making sure no one took it" the guy burped and almost fell if it weren't for edwards grip on him, "DONT BE LIEN TO ME OR I'LL SLIT YOUR THROAT HERE AND NOW"
Edward was infuriated at the horrible excuse this guy gave, the least e could do was a give a decent one, he let go off the man and let him fell on the ground e sat on his still and began to drink his rum. "where was Julie, they had a town to ransack"
He saw her approach him only 2 seconds before the navy came in after her and grabbed her by the neck, being touched was not something she liked so in a split second she ingulfed herself in an inferno of fire and everyone around her was burnt to a crisp but outside there were even more and this time they ha brought guns the first shits bounced off a wall of fire Julie had raised "Go, get out just don't forget me or the gifts I gave you" and with that she turned back around and held off another volley of shrapnel,
So Edward left with a heavy heart knowing that his only love was dead.
