Appearance: Tsubaki has a good build, and is slightly taller than her meister. She is somewhat pale and has deep indigo eyes. Her hair is black and has two strands that frame her face and one that falls over her nose. The rest falls down in a long curved ponytail in the back. She usually has a kind, soft expression on her face.
She wears a pale yellow dress that goes down the length of her boots. It has somewhat of a collar on top and is slit down the right side. It has a large yellow star on the right side of her chest. She wears a black scarf around her neck and a black legging on her right leg. She wears white boots. On her arms she wears arm warmers that are fuzzy white near the bottom and then green and black striped at the top. She wears a sash that wraps twice around her waist. On the second wrap around, it drapes down diagonally.
Upon joining Spartoi, her outfit totally changed. She now wears a white sleeveless top and her same black scarf around her neck. She wears a pair of jean shorts that are very short and a black belt around her waist. She wears bandages that reach from her fingertips all the way up her arms to just before her shoulders. She wears dark black leggings on both legs and white flat shoes.
Personality: She has a very magnanimous and gentle personality and always tries to help everyone even when she has no idea how to help. She is caring and understanding and sometimes acts as the mediator when her friends fight. Tsubaki's soul is "very co-operative and has a lot of space to accept people." She deeply cares for her friends and prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict, usually being the one who diffuses any arguments between people. She is also generous and kind-hearted, up to the point that some people even take advantage of her. One of the most mature and flexible characters, Tsubaki is very amiable and gets along well with her peers and can be very understanding of their feelings. Despite being on the calm and accepting side, she still knows where to draw a line, and can be as punishing as Maka when her partner does something inappropriate, such as spying on her while she is bathing. Due to her overall serious nature, she still shows some dismay and shock alongside Maka when the other characters do something ridiculous.
She does seem to suffer from a degree of self-doubt and low esteem however, although she prefers to hide this from people. It is shown that she has a secret fear that Black Star would abandon her for another partner and refers herself as a 'scentless flower' when fighting Masamune. However, when the situation calls for it, Tsubaki can be almost as determined and spirited as Black Star. She comes from an established family of Weapons descending from a Weapon created by one of Arachne's younger sisters, Medusa. Though younger than her brother, Masamune, she was given the bulk of the family transformation ability. Masamune grew extremely jealous of this, and thus became a bitter enemy, whom she volunteered to face. She also seems to have a talent for cooking, having been complimented on a few occasions by her friends.
Fighting Style: Tsubaki isn't a meister and usually isn't as absorbed into battles as Black*Star is. She always transforms on command, usually with the saying: "Right!". She will hesitate when she thinks a transformation is dangerous, but she still transforms aside. She usually calls to Black*Star during battle, giving him plans of attack and calming him down.

History: Tsubaki was in a large family. She was still the person she is today, quiet, calm and always willing to do what others want. She loved her older brother, Masamune, and was constantly playing with him. However, Tsubaki received the bulk of the family transformation ability, and this enraged Masamune. He ran off and became a Kishin Egg, the Enchanted Sword. Tsubaki joined Shibusen Academy in order to hunt down her brother.
Here, she met Black*Star, and was the only one to clap at his entrance speech. They became good friends and partners. On their first mission to defeat Al Capone, they failed horribly due to Black*Star's inability to be silent. They soon encountered the bodyguard, Mifune who guarded the Witch Angela. They could easily get 99 souls here and a witch soul (due to Mifune defeat Al Capone and his men). They defeated Mifune, only to discover Angela was only a child. They left the scene, only to be told by Shinigami that it was foolish to not even take the Kishin Eggs that were just lying there.
Soon came the reason Tsubaki joined Shibusen. They were sent to a small village and soon they discovered Masamune (after learning important things about Black*Star's heritage) inside the body of an annoying village boy. They managed to force him out, and Tsubaki entered the sword. A battle ensued inside the sword, ending in Tsubaki's defeat. However, Tsubaki couldn't lose, she would show him that a Camelia Flower was not scentless. She defeated Masamune, and was left hugging his Kishin Egg Soul. She gained a new weapon form, the Enchanted Sword.
Soon came Operation: Capture Baba Yaga Castle, after the awakening of the Kishin Asura. Here, Tsubaki and Black*Star advanced far ahead of their other troops, making it to the front of the Castle, only to be confronted by Mifune. There was a fight, where Mifune stated that Black*Star had chosen the path of the demon. He defeated Black*Star, only to have Tsubaki cry over him. However, Black*Star returned to life, stating that he made his own path, and followed not the path of the warrior or demon. He defeated Mifune with this new strength, and offered him a job at Shibusen, which Mifune accepted. They went to retrieve Angela, only for Black*Star to notice the Kishin's barrier. The two barely made it inside, along with Kid and Maka. They attacked the oversized Kishin, only to have Soul consumed by the Black Blood and the fight was left to Black*Star and Kid. Due to Black*Star's inability to not be the center of attention, Kid was defeated. However, Kid unconsciously revived and fired a huge Death Cannon, weakening the Kishin. Black*Star attacked even harded, and the two managed to get him back to human size, only to be defeated. Maka later managed to beat the Kishin, even without Soul (who was also defeated).
Shibusen closed down, only to reopen hastily with the awakening of a new Kishin. Tsubaki and Black*Star were instated as members of Spartoi Squad 1. This is where the adventure begins.

Tsubaki nodded. The task was fairly simple, considering who she was asking, but Tsubaki couldn't say the same for Soul. Soul had to ask Maka, which probably wouldn't be an easy task due to what they had planned on doing. Soul took off soon, to go retrieve Maka. Tsubaki headed outside Shibusen, only to see Black*Star in another fight. Tsubaki had to admit, he was incredibly strong compared to anyone else at this school. Tsubaki didn't even have to look to know Black*Star had won in a matter of seconds.[/size]
"Black*Star! Soul wanted me to get you to go play down at the Basketball Court!" Tsubaki called to him, while also approaching him at the same time. Of course, Black*Star took off without a notice, and was probably already at the court. Tsubaki took her time in getting there, thinking over the last time they had played there. 'I remember, before we went to fight the Kishin. The winning shot would be from the one who defeated the Kishin. I guess it came true, Maka scored the basket, and defeated the Kishin. But it was also true that Black*Star assisted in both cases. Funny how things work out like that.' Tsubaki broke her train of though as she noticed the walls of the Basketball Court.
She noticed that Maka and Soul were there, along with Black*Star. "Come on Maka! It'll be fun!" Tsubaki chided. Soon, Kid, Liz and Patty arrived, all dressed symmetrically of course. Soul started off the game with a pass to Black*Star, who tried to score a basket from the center line, but of course he missed. Tsubaki ended up with the ball, and dribbled to the other end of the court, narrowly missing Black*Star and she took a shot. Whoosh! It was a basket.
